Innovate Frame & Design is the culmination of a life-long love of art and beauty. Learning from my mother (a talented and successful artist) and my stepfather (an award-winning art director), I developed an early passion for art which led me to Kent State University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1991. It was during that time that I took a job in a frame shop that would change my future!
I discovered a skill for the detailed, mechanical work of framing and combined it with an artistic talent for using interesting frames and mats to enhance the look of any piece of art.
Using my training and education in art and design, I helped people create a unique presentation for each piece that came into the shop. After ten years in the framing industry, I started my own custom framing studio part-time while raising my children.
In 2005 the Innovate Frame & Design studio was launched on a full-time basis to help clients enjoy their art and preserve their memories, while fulfilling my passion for art and design.

I have been building and assembling frames with Maureen for over ten years. In addition to being a skilled carpenter and electrician,
I worked for many years in a custom furniture and cabinet shop where I learned the craftsmanship, precision and attention to detail that I incorporate into every custom frame I build. Each one is unique and carefully made. Working together, we at Innovate Frame & Design can create art pieces you will be proud to display.
